Licensed Vocational Nurse - Acute MedSurgical

About the Role

Provides patient care under supervision of physicians or registered nurses, following established standards and practices. Performs basic clinical tasks such as obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, collecting specimens, and assisting with examinations and procedures. Supports patient flow, manages communication by answering phones and scheduling appointments, and documents relevant patient information.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with examinations, treatments, medication refills, and administering medications or immunizations.
• Maintains a clean and stocked exam environment, follows sterile techniques, and orders supplies as needed.
• Performs routine clerical duties, including chart management and completing forms.
• Participates in meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• Licensed LVN in the applicable state or compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to perform clinical procedures and handle administrative tasks efficiently.

Schedule

Full-time position, 7 PM to 7 AM.
