Licensed Veterinary Technician - Ramsgate Veterinary Clinic - TX

A Day in the Life

  • Work side by side with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care and client experience
  • Assist with patient exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures
  • Prepare and monitor patients for surgery, including anesthesia monitoring and recovery care
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed
  • Provide attentive nursing care to hospitalized patients, including IV catheter placement and fluid therapy
  • Perform venipuncture and support diagnostic testing
  • Operate and maintain equipment such as digital radiography and in-house lab analyzers
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding patient care and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

What We’re Looking For

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Texas
  • Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent
  • Strong clinical and technical skills, including anesthesia monitoring and patient care
  • Confidence in animal handling and restraint with a compassionate approach
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A positive attitude and a genuine passion for veterinary medicine
