Licensed Veterinary Technician - Part-Time - New York - East Village

About the role

Bond Vet is on a mission to strengthen the human‑animal bond through better pet care, offering primary and urgent care in clinics designed for pets and people. In July 2026 Bond Vet merged with Small Door Veterinary to create a combined organization spanning more than 55 clinics across the Northeast, Mid‑Atlantic and Midwest, serving over half a million pets. This role will help shape the next chapter of the combined organization and advance the shared mission to transform veterinary care.

Responsibilities

• Patient handling and husbandry
• Client education and partnership
• Surgical and dental nursing, including anesthesia management
• Diagnostic management and medication administration
• Emergency triage and response
• Detailed medical record keeping
• Running appointments alongside assistants
• Collaborating with veterinarians and nurses across the region
• Participating in monthly educational events
• Using innovative technology — including AI‑assisted tools and Apple Vision Pro — to reduce administrative burden and enhance patient care

Requirements

• 1+ year experience as a veterinary technician (newly licensed technicians encouraged to apply)
• CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT preferred
• Independent, unrestricted valid authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer (no visa sponsorship)

Pay

• Base pay: $27 – $40 per hour (based on experience)
• Shift differential: up to $8/hour
• Team‑based profit sharing bonus when clinic exceeds daily revenue goal (team members have earned up to an additional $250/month or more)
• Sign‑on bonus: up to $5,000 for licensed technicians
