About the role

Lansdowne Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment — running rooms, managing anesthesia, supporting surgical caseloads, and communicating with clients at a high clinical level. We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care. Training is considered for the right candidate. In this position, you will play a key role in both outpatient and procedural workflows, contributing to a consistent, high standard of care throughout the patient visit. Located in historic Leesburg, VA, our small animal practice combines the warmth of a neighborhood clinic with the capabilities of a modern medical facility. With 2 doctors now and plans to continue to grow, we handle a mix of surgeries and wellness care — including spays, neuters, dentals, cystotomies, amputations, and more—while maintaining a strong emphasis on outpatient care and client relationships. Our team values open communication, mutual support, and true work-life balance—offering a consistent schedule, no weekends, and time built in for lunch and catch-up. Plus, you’ll be part of a practice that gives back to the community, supporting organizations like the Loudoun Pet Pantry, Loudoun County Animal Shelter, Loudoun Community Cat Coalition, and Pets for Patriots. If you’re looking for a role where your skills are valued and your well-being matters, we’d love to have you join our team.
