About the role
Greater Staten Island Veterinary Services is excited to welcome a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to our busy emergency and specialty hospital.
About You
- Current LVT certification/licensure required
- Team-oriented, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized, with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Compassionate, positive, honest, and committed to providing excellent care
Responsibilities
- Anesthesia, sedation and procedures
- Setting up CRIs and performing medical calculations
- Placing IV catheters and managing fluid therapy
- Monitoring hospitalized patients and providing compassionate care
- Collecting diagnostic samples and maintaining records
- Radiology positioning and safety

Pay
- $30/hr – $40/hr + overnight differential
- Sign-on bonus for full-time LVT
