About the role

Lead the clinical care of animals at Uptown Animal Hospital & Urgent Care, focusing on providing high-quality veterinary services and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Tailor treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each animal patient.
• Conduct thorough examinations and diagnostic tests to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Train and mentor veterinary assistants and technicians.
• Participate in hospital management and strategic planning initiatives.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Washington State.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a veterinary setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills in a veterinary setting.
• Experience with emergency and critical care.
• Knowledge of internal medicine and surgery.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
