Licensed Veterinary Technician - LVT

About the role

Lead the clinical care of animals at Uptown Animal Hospital & Urgent Care. Provide expert medical care, perform surgeries, and manage a team of veterinarians and technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a variety of animal illnesses and injuries
  • Perform surgical procedures under anesthesia
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Train and mentor veterinary assistants and technicians
  • Manage hospital operations and staff schedules

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited school
  • Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Washington state
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

$150,000 - $180,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position with rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
