Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)

About the role

Brady Veterinary Hospital is searching for an experienced, credentialed veterinary technician. Located 35 minutes from Lacey, Montesano is a small, tight-knit community known for its scenic beauty and outdoor activities.

Responsibilities

• Place IV catheters, venipuncture, administer premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, perioperative nursing care, dental prophylactics, radiographs, etc.
• Lead support staff and grow professional skills and knowledge.
• Offer alternative medicine such as acupuncture, chiropractic, laser therapy, and herbal medicine.
• Work four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, NO WEEKENDS!

Requirements

• Experienced, licensed veterinary technician.
• Strong technical skills including IV catheter placement, venipuncture, anesthesia administration, and surgical nursing.
• Fear Free Certified.

Pay

$25.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, NO WEEKENDS!
