Licensed (or eligible) Veterinary Technician in VA

Responsibilities
- Anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
- Dental prophylaxis and dental x-rays
- Helping drive workflow and efficiency
- Mentoring and training less experienced staff
- Being a key part of a small, growing team
Requirements
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
- A current state veterinary technician license (LVT) in good standing.
- Proficiency in a range of technical skills, including nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
- A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
- One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong anesthesia and monitoring skills (HR, BP, SpO₂, etc.).
- Confident with surgery and dentistry.
- Team-oriented, detail-focused, and proactive.
- Fear Free certified or open to becoming certified.

Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8am–6pm
Saturday (alternating): 8am–12pm
Closed Wednesdays & Sundays
Pay
$28 - $35 per hour
Sign on bonus of $2500.00
Schedule
4-day work week with alternating Saturdays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Routine exposure to animals and medical equipment in a potentially noisy environment.
