• Schedule: Monday through Friday. NO WEEKENDS!

Join our team of dedicated veterinary professionals at Salem Animal Hospital. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to support our mission of providing exceptional veterinary care.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and treatments
• Administer medications and treatments as directed
• Perform diagnostic tests and record patient data
• Care for hospitalized patients and assist with surgeries
• Prepare treatment areas and maintain equipment
• Provide pet owners with education and advice on pet care
• Collaborate with other members of the veterinary team

Requirements

• Current North Carolina license as a Veterinary Technician
• Experience in a veterinary setting preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology or related field
• Completion of a recognized veterinary technology program
• Knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology
• Proficiency in computer software and medical records management systems

Pay

• $26 - $29 per hour based on experience and licensure
