What to Expect in the Role
- Assist our DVM team with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical/dental procedures
- Perform anesthesia monitoring and support a wide range of surgical cases
- Collect and process laboratory samples; run in-house diagnostics and prepare specimens
- Place IV catheters, administer medications and vaccines, and support hospitalized patient care
- Take and process radiographs under veterinary direction while maintaining accurate medical records
- Communicate with clients regarding discharge instructions, medications, and at-home care
Minimum Qualifications
- Licensed, Certified, or Registered Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) required
- Strong communication skills with a focus on client education and team collaboration
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy
- Competency in anesthesia monitoring, surgical assisting, and basic laboratory procedures preferred
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medical terminology, patient care, and clinical procedures
