About the role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Veterinary Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong desire to contribute to the health and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and treatments
- Administer medications and perform routine medical procedures under supervision
- Care for and socialize animals in the hospital setting
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining records
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a veterinary setting preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for those who need to travel)
Qualifications

- Attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay
The salary range for this position is $18 - $22 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Shifts are typically 8 hours long, Monday through Friday, with some weekend availability.
