Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician (LVMT)

Responsibilities

• Obtaining accurate patient histories from clients
• Reviewing and researching previous medical records
• Presenting patient information and findings clearly to the Veterinarian
• Aiding with appointments, routine procedures, dentistry, and surgeries
• Following Veterinarian instructions and treatment plans
• Administering medications and treatments
• Performing radiographic studies
• Conducting laboratory testing
• Entering accurate medical information into the computer system
• Supporting fellow team members and maintaining a collaborative environment
• Communicating with clients regarding laboratory results, follow-up care, and appointments
