About the Role

As a Licensed Therapist at Remedy Behavioral Health, you’ll provide evidence-based counseling services in our Florence outpatient clinic while working alongside experienced psychiatric providers and fellow therapists who share a common mission: helping people heal.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Deliver outpatient therapy services in our Florence, Alabama clinic.
  • Support children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, adjustment disorders, developmental concerns, severe mental illness, substance use history, and co-occurring medical conditions.
  • Monitor client progress and modify treatment goals and interventions as clinically appropriate.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) using SOAP note format in accordance with HIPAA and company standards.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other members of the treatment team to ensure coordinated, person-centered care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and follow-up services when needed to support client safety and stability.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings, case consultations, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Pursue continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and strengthen clinical skills.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and professional codes of ethics.
  • Adhere to HIPAA, confidentiality, and documentation standards.
  • Report compliance, ethical, or safety concerns promptly to leadership or the HIPAA Officer.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, compliance education, and required organizational training.
