About the Role
We are seeking a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide life-changing care directly in the community, helping clients on their path to recovery from mental health and substance use challenges.
Responsibilities
- Deliver vital substance use interventions, helping clients rebuild their lives while addressing substance use and mental health challenges.
- Work alongside a skilled team of psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and other mental health professionals ensuring clients receive holistic care.
- Be a voice for clients, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and respect.
- Participate in daily team meetings to ensure quality service delivery.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Welligent EMR.
- Offer on-call crisis intervention services as part of a rotating schedule.
Qualifications
- Certified as a CADC or CCS, or provisionally or fully licensed as a LCAS/A in NC.
- Comfortable working in community settings with a valid driver’s license.
Benefits
- Hourly Salary: $43,680 to $65,000/year | $21.00 – $31.25/hour, based on licensure and experience
