Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) is seeking a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide life-changing care directly in the community, helping clients on their path to recovery from mental health and substance use challenges.

Community Impact
Deliver vital substance use interventions, helping clients rebuild their lives while addressing substance use and mental health challenges.
Collaborate with the ACT team to develop tailored treatment plans.
Participate in daily team meetings to ensure quality service delivery.
Qualifications
- Certified as a CADC or CCS, or provisionally or fully licensed as a LCAS/A in NC.
- Comfortable working in community settings with a valid driver’s license.
Professional Growth
- Receive up to $65/week for licensure supervision, ongoing training, and career development opportunities.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct substance use assessments and provide individual and group interventions.
- Facilitate access to recovery resources, including 12-step programs.
- Collaborate with the ACT team to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Welligent EMR.
- Offer on-call crisis intervention services as part of a rotating schedule.
