Psychologists at Kingsboro Psychiatric Center are part of an interdisciplinary treatment team and provide assessment and treatment to individuals with mental illness.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and program management
• Conduct forensic or court-ordered assessments
• Provide treatment and expert testimony
• Provide individual, group, or family therapy and crisis intervention
• Maintain records and documentation

Requirements

• Licensed and currently registered to practice Psychology in New York State
• OR one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law
• OR reachable on the current Licensed Psychologist eligible list

Pay

The salary of $145,413 includes a Geographic Pay Differential ($20,000), an Increased Hiring Rate ($25,077), and a Downstate Adjustment ($4,000).
