Qualifications
- Education and Licensure: A master's or doctoral degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling, or a related field from a CACREP-accredited program.
- Licensure: Full, current, and unrestricted license to independently practice as a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor, which includes diagnosis and treatment.

- English Language Proficiency: Proficient in spoken and written English.
Experience
- One year of progressively complex experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level, demonstrating advanced practice skills and judgment.
- Manage the daily operations of multiple programs, develop and implement program policies and procedures, or serve as chief or principal counselor to a number of LPMHCs.
- Prepare reports and statistics for facility, VISN, and national leadership.
- Monitor program outcomes using data-driven quality assurance processes.
- Develop productivity standards appropriate to each service provided.
- Manage a wide range of programs which include the operation and management of key clinical, training, or administrative programs.
Duties
- Serves as a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor Program Manager - RCS Vet Center Director (VCD).
- Supervise professional and nonprofessional staff including a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals, social workers, other hybrid titles, readjustment counselors, outreach workers, and office managers.
- Oversee fiscal, contractual, and operational obligations of the community-based Vet Center.
- Coordinate and brief during meetings with Congressional representatives and their staff.
- Plan, establish, and implement Vet Center policies and procedures.
- Lead the development of staff goals and objectives, monitor, coordinate, and evaluate the work of all Vet Center staff.
- Provide direct readjustment counseling services within and outside of the Vet Center, including in-person and virtual services.

Work Schedule
- Mon-Fri 8:00am - 4:30pm, some nights and weekends may be required.
