Licensed Private Duty Caregiver
About the role
BAYADA is seeking a CNA to provide personal care, household support, and companion care services to adults in their homes. This position offers the chance to develop close relationships with clients and provides opportunities for growth within the BAYADA family.
Responsibilities
- Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
- Provide household support tasks like light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
- Prepare and feed meals, perform range of motion exercises, and assist with ambulation (using mechanical lifting devices).
- Remind clients of medication schedules and check vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration).
Requirements
- At least one year of work experience.
- Successfully completed a recognized CNA training course and hold certification.
- A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
- A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
- Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
- Ability to travel to clients' homes as needed.
Qualifications
- Passionate about caregiving and providing private home care.
- Able to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.
- Flexible schedule options available: full-time, part-time, per-diem, and on-call.
- Short commute times to minimize travel time.
- One-on-one patient care experience.
- A stable work environment with 50 years of service.

- Strong communication skills.
- Physical stamina and mobility.
- Basic computer skills for scheduling and record-keeping.
