Private Duty Caregiver

About the role

Lifespace Communities is seeking Private Duty Caregivers to provide essential support services in residents' homes. This role offers flexible scheduling options, ranging from 2 hours to 24-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals; assist with grocery shopping
• Help with ambulation, exercise, and light housekeeping tasks
• Provide medication reminders under nurse supervision
• Support therapy and rehabilitation activities
• Encourage engagement and mental alertness through activities of interest
• Build meaningful relationships that create joy and connection

Requirements

• Experience in personal care, caregiving
• A compassionate, patient, and dependable spirit
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Current CPR certification
• Background check required
