Licensed Practical Nurse - Rheumatology

Role Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or supervisor, focusing on delivering care aligned with organizational policies and principles of relationship-based care. Key Responsibilities Perform nursing duties, including data collection through observation and communication to support patient assessment and care planning.Participate as a team member, accepting delegation from RNs or providers to meet patient and family needs.Deliver care according to the patient care plan and organizational policies.Mentor, instruct, and possibly participate in quality improvement projects and committees. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or eligible after completing a specified nursing program period.Current state licensure as an LPN and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Preferred: one year of recent LPN experience, excellent communication skills, teamwork ability, and computer proficiency, preferably with electronic medical records.Flexibility to work daytime hours and adapt to unpredictable situations.Additional specialty certifications as required for specific work areas. Additional Details: The role is full-time, nonexempt, with a schedule of five daytime shifts per week, no weekends or call. Compensation ranges from $26.52 to $39.32 per hour, with benefits included. The position may be located at various sites, supporting diverse communities.
