Licensed Practical Nurse (PT/LPN)
About the role
Our beautiful independent and assisted living community is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This individual will support the Assisted Living Director of Nursing (DON) in ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centered care. The facility is located at Garden Villas South, 13457 Tesson Ferry Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63128. Delmar Gardens is a family-owned, St. Louis-based company that has been serving the community for 60 years. Responsibilities
- Providing nursing services
- Assessing residents’ needs
- Developing and updating individualized care plans
- Communicating with residents, family members and physicians
- Supervising care staff as needed
- Participating in the rotating on-call schedule
Requirements
Licensed in the State of Missouri; excellent communication skills; interest in geriatric medicine; prior long-term care experience is a plus; familiarity with MatrixCare is preferred.
