Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse-Long Term Substitute

Qualifications

• Nurse/LPN/RN positions will provide on-site hands-on management of routine and emergency health concerns as they arise at multiple health offices District Wide according to district policy and guidelines and state law.
• Daily distribution of student’s medications, maintenance of student health records and to provide on-going communication with parents, teachers, specialists, principals, and the health service coordinator.
• Able to collect and report data as directed by the Licensed School Nurse.
• Must be well-organized and willing to work as a team; and be comfortable with using the computer.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Licensure

• LPN or RN with CPR and First Aid Training strongly preferred, will consider other medical certifications.
