LPN on a medical floor specializing in pulmonary and respiratory care, providing focused treatment, respiratory support, and patient education.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care
- Evaluate care effectiveness
- Coordinate with other departments
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality
- Uphold organizational standards
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience
- Active LPN licensure in the state
- Must have or obtain Basic Life Support certification
- Must have or obtain LPN-IV certification within specified timeframes
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and turn patients up to 50 pounds
Both new and experienced LPNs are eligible.
