Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Urgent Care

Position Overview

Provides professional nursing care under provider supervision, performing general nursing duties including medication administration, patient assessments, preparing equipment, and assisting with procedures and examinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care activities and ensure smooth clinic flow.
• Observe, document, and report patient conditions and reactions.
• Greet patients, obtain health histories, take vitals, and prepare patients for exams.
• Respond to patient inquiries and educate on health, medications, and wellness.
• Maintain exam rooms, ensure cleanliness, and manage lab specimens.
• Assist providers during procedures and tests, and perform quality control on lab testing.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
• Effective communication, visual acuity, and ability to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to confidentiality, safety standards, and organizational values.
