Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center. The facility houses the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.
Responsibilities
The Licensed Practical Nurse, under the supervision and general direction of the providers, utilizes the knowledge basis of nursing education and experience to:
- Provide direct patient care
- Assist providers in the delivery of world-class medical care
- Ensure nursing practice aligns with current center standards, procedures, and outside regulatory agencies
- Commit to a team problem-solving approach using a patient-focused model
Requirements
- Completion of a technical program in nursing
- Successful passage of the licensing exam
- Current LPN licensure in the state of Idaho
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
