About the role

Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Respiratory Med Surg Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Tulsa, OK. Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed independent practitioner.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and collect data reflective of the patient’s status.
• Participate in the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective and high quality patient care.
• Adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Valid LPN Oklahoma license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
