About the Role
Join our team as a day shift, full-time Medical Surgical Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Pryor, OK. Individuals within this job classification are accountable for providing nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed independent practitioner.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit. This includes demonstrating knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and the ability to collect data reflective of the patient’s status.
The LPN is expected to participate in the development, modification, and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective, and high-quality patient care. He/she must adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Hillcrest Hospital Pryor is a 48-bed acute care hospital providing a range of healthcare services to the community, including ENT, emergency services, general surgery, gastroenterology, cardiology, orthopedics, podiatry, outpatient infusions, radiology, women's services, wound care, and 3D mammography.

Requirements
- GED or High School Diploma.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Vocational/Technical).
- Current LPN license (upon hire).
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
