About the Role

Join our team as a day shift, full-time Medical Surgical Services Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Tulsa, OK. Individuals within this job classification are accountable for providing nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed independent practitioner.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit. This individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to collect data reflective of the patient’s status. The LPN participates in the development, modification, and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective, and high-quality patient care. He/she is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

About Your Team

Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

Requirements

  • Valid LPN Oklahoma license
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
