Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) PRN

About the role
The primary purpose of the LPN is to ensure the highest quality of resident care, support staff, and establish a positive reputation in the community while delivering on the Eduro HealthCare Values of wellness, compassion, customer experience, and company results. Daily pay is available.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care as directed by the Director of Nursing and supervise the program aide assigned to assist with nursing services
- Take and monitor patient vital signs
- Assist patients with eating, dressing, and bathing
- Administer medication
- Communicate changes in patient behavior or health status to Nurses, Physicians, and family members
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Collect specimen samples when needed
- Take an active part in patient care planning
- Prepare patients for transfers or discharge
- Assist in medical procedures
- Manage emergency medical situations
Requirements
- Valid LPN license in good standing
- Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program
- Completion of orientation required by company policy
- Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment
- Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire
- Free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check
- Satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment within three (3) days of hire
- High school Diploma or equivalent
