About the Role
Life Care Centers of America, Northwest Division, is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for our Float Pool program. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to work at multiple Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care facilities within a designated geographic area near your residence. As a Float Pool LPN, you will deliver quality nursing care, ensure patient safety, and support the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of patients in accordance with laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Float Pool Requirements
- Willing to work at all facilities within your designated facility group.
- Work at least two shift times (Day, Evening, or Night).
- Work at least two weekend shifts per month.
Responsibilities
- Deliver quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact.
- Provide care and services to ensure patient safety.
- Support the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each patient.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
- Additional tasks may be assigned as necessitated by business demands.
Requirements
- Attended an accredited LPN program.
- Currently licensed/registered in the applicable State.
- Maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
- One (1) year of geriatric nursing experience preferred.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; must remain current during employment.
