About the role
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Internal Float Pool team. This full-time role involves 12-hour shifts during day or night hours, providing high-quality nursing care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients/residents and monitor changes in their condition
- Contribute to assessments and care planning
- Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered
- Supervise and oversee care provided by unlicensed staff
Qualifications
- Graduation from an approved practical or vocational nursing program
- Current licensure or pending licensure by the State Board of Nursing
- Current BLS/CPR certification, if applicable
Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and care planning abilities
- Effective communication and supervision skills
- Ability to deliver compassionate patient care
