Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN

About the role

Richwood Nursing & Rehab is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing facility in Oldham County, LaGrange.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent care for assigned residents, including medication passes and treatments.
• Supervise nursing assistants in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Complete accident/incident reports and discharge plans.
• Chart nurses' notes and complete administrative duties such as medical forms and evaluations.
• Administer medications accurately and verify resident identity.
• Order and dispose of medications and supplies as needed.
• Participate in employee performance evaluations and make recommendations for staffing and personnel actions.
• Review and implement restorative and rehabilitative programs.
• Inspect treatment areas and monitor seriously ill residents.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for charting and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of long-term care standards and regulations.

Schedule
