Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Peregrine Senior Living at Colonie, a leading provider of senior memory care in Colonie, NY, is seeking a kind and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Schedule

• Full Time, day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Rotating weekends
• Shift differential available for weekend shifts

Pay

$25.50 – $28.50 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing of bed linens, positioning, transfer, mobility, and incontinence care as needed.
• Monitor medication programs and dispense medication in accordance with physician orders and the Medication Administration Record for all residents.
• Monitor and report any resident changes in condition.

Requirements

• Current Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of experience working as a nurse serving a senior population.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
