About the role
Providence Living Center in Topeka, KS is looking for a full-time or PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic and caring clinical team. This rehabilitation nursing position offers a competitive salary and opportunities to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents.
Pay
$34.75 to $37.00 per hour with a $4,000 sign-on bonus for full-time positions.

Responsibilities
- Provide total care for residents, including monitoring their condition and needs
- Follow physician orders to administer medications and treatments
- Ensure narcotic policies and procedures are followed
- Monitor for side effects and report changes in residents' conditions
- Oversee nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff to ensure resident care plans are followed
- Complete documentation, including admitting and discharging residents
- Report any bruises, skin tears, or neglect observed during care
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements and facility policies
- Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Qualifications
- LPN licensure with the KS Board of Nursing
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Experience in medical or surgical nursing is preferred but not required

Schedule
12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
- Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
- 3-day weekends every other weekend
- Never work more than 3 days in a row
- 7 days off every 14 days
- Average of 2 hours of overtime every week
