About the role
This role involves utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed provider or Registered Nurse (RN). You will be responsible for ensuring patient rights, maintaining confidentiality, and coordinating care with other departments.
Responsibilities
- Performing assessments and delivering direct patient care on a surgical unit focusing on post-operative orthopedic traumas and neurosurgery.
- Maintaining professional accountability and adhering to all licensure and certification requirements.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Current LPN license in the state of practice and maintaining licensure.
- Must hold LPN-IV certification issued by the state board.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire.
