Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to unit leadership and respond promptly to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice
• Use nursing process, judgment, and skills to prioritize and deliver quality resident care
• Administer treatments and medications, observing residents for effects
• Communicate and collaborate with care team members to update care plans and document findings
• Monitor and record vital signs, treatments, and residents' responses
• Oversee and evaluate the delivery of care provided by CNAs, considering residents' needs and staff competency

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved nursing program
• Licensed and in good standing as an LPN in New York
• Committed to compassionate, clinically sound care and rehabilitation
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and harmoniously with staff

Covid-19 vaccinations encouraged but not mandatory.
