About the role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Assisted Living community, you’ll have a meaningful impact on residents’ daily lives by providing compassionate, high-quality clinical care and supporting a strong caregiving team. With the support of a Regional Nurse Consultant, you’ll deliver care within state guidelines and established best practices while helping create a culture of caring, accountability, and excellence. This role offers autonomy, teamwork, and the opportunity to build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare partners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with state regulations and facility policies
  • Support and guide caregiving staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care
  • Assist with resident assessments, care planning, and ongoing monitoring of changes in condition
  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols
  • Maintain professional relationships with physicians, office staff, pharmacies, and healthcare providers
  • Collaborate with the Regional Nurse Consultant and community leadership to support clinical best practices
  • Support orientation and training of care team members as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and home-like environment for residents

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required

Skills

  • Experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, caregivers, and healthcare partners
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Physical Demands

  • Lift up to 25 lbs. and assist with resident transfers as needed
  • Push, pull, and maneuver up to 100 lbs., including resident mobility assistance
  • Maneuver resident wheelchairs weighing up to 350 lbs.

Pay

$27 to $28 hourly
