Licensed Practical Nurse - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Role Overview: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides delegated nursing tasks and participates in patient care within their Scope of Practice, under supervision. Key Responsibilities: Assists with patient admission, prepares/administers medications, supports activities of daily living, obtains specimens, documents care, and communicates with healthcare team. Participates in patient education, ensures compliance with legal and ethical standards, and contributes to quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Skills: Current LPN license, BLS certification (ACLS if applicable), and possibly IV certification. Preferred experience includes clinical or hospital nursing. Skills in patient care, documentation, communication, education, and coordination are essential. Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to read, communicate effectively, manipulate equipment, lift/move patients, and assist with transportation. May involve driving and standing for extended periods. Additional Info: Position is based in Grand Junction, Colorado, with scheduled hours of 24 per week.
