About the role
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (IDD LPN) - Traveler to join our team at RHA Health Services. This role is a temporary, travel nurse position offering flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, and PRN (as needed) options.
Responsibilities
- Provide coverage across multiple group homes, supporting individuals with intellectual, developmental disabilities, and mental health/suicide prevention challenges.
- Collaborate with Direct Support Professionals and interdisciplinary team members to assess residents, coordinate care, oversee medication management, and assist with maintaining health.
- Offer personalized, relationship-centered care in a calmer, home-like environment compared to hospital or skilled nursing facility settings.
- Work independently, stay organized, and effectively prioritize responsibilities to ensure quality care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited licensed nursing program.
- Current unrestricted nursing license.
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, the people supported, and their families.
- Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain certification.
- Maintain all required nursing licensure, certifications, and CPR certification.
- Complete all required RHA and site-specific annual competencies by established deadlines, with documentation maintained in Workday.

- Experience working in a community-based setting with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Pay
$35/hr+ (based on credentials and experience)
Schedule
Varies 12 hours or 8 hours
