Location: Main office is out of Clevland, NC and all canidates must be willing to travel to our group homes within a 20 miunute commute from Clevland such as in Salisbury, NC. Employment Type: Full-time, Day Shift Compensation: $32/hr+ Incentives: No sign-on bonus is being offered at this time. No relocation packaged offered. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm This is an office-based position that supports our group home operations and requires routine visits to our residential homes. It is ideal for nurses seeking a more structured and steady-paced environment outside of traditional fast-paced hospital or SNF settings. Candidates with prior IDD and case management experience are strongly encouraged to apply.** Job Responsibilities Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilitiesAssist the Registered Nurse in delivering quality nursing services to persons supportedProvide health related training to unlicensed personnelAdminister medications and treatments or assist the person supported with medication administrationAssist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduledConduct medication closest assessmentsCollect health related dataObserve for and report any abnormal health related findings to the physicianCommunicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary TeamAdvocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health for the people supported Requirements Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse programCurrent nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing. Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certificationMust be able to communicate effectively with Interdisciplinary Team Members, as well as the people supported and their familiesMust be able to work independently, be organized, and possess the ability to prioritize work tasks Pre-employment screening: Complete criminal backgroundName checked in the registries.
