We are hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (IDD LPN) - Day Shift position at RHA Health Services in Knoxville, TN. This is a regular full-time role offering a competitive salary of $28/hr with a $4,000 sign-on bonus. The position is office-based and involves supporting group home operations with routine visits to residential homes. Ideal for nurses seeking a structured and steady-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care and services to persons with disabilities.
  • Aids RN and professional staff in delivering quality nursing services.
  • Administers and oversees specified medication processes and procedures.
  • Removes expired medications from circulation and access.
  • Takes historical information and records persons' supported vital signs.
  • Observes person's supported mannerisms and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment as needed.
  • Advocates for individuals with IDD.
  • Participates as an intricate part of the interdisciplinary team for the people we support.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Valid state Licensed Practical Nurse certification.
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Ability to lift between 30 and 50 pounds and provide CPR after certification.
  • Ability to remain calm in crisis situations.
