Duties
- Medication administration and specimen collection
- Attentiveness to patients’ medical and other needs
- Provision of nursing treatments
- Gather patient measurements, signs and symptoms
- Conduct building checks for safety hazards and ensuring patient safety
- Crisis intervention
- Complete documentation in patient electronic medical records, as well as staff communication logs and other required forms as needed
- File patient record forms in the appropriate location within the record
Qualifications
- A license to practice as a practical nurse in New York State
- Eligible and maintain eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs
