About the role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or with a Registered Nurse, ensuring professional accountability and coordinating care with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality

• Support the delivery of quality care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience
• Valid LPN license
• Current BLS certification
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and turn patients

Skills

• Ability to work collaboratively
• Adhere to safety and clinical standards
• Meet physical demands of the role
• Preferred: IV certification within one year of hire

Some certifications like ACLS, PALS, PEARS, or unit-specific credentials may be required.
