Licensed Practical Nurse - Full Time

About the Role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or with RN guidance, ensuring professional accountability and coordination with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality, aligning with organizational standards and values.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing duties and cares for assigned patients
• Collaborates with healthcare team members
• Ensures compliance with clinical protocols
• Maintains a safe, compassionate environment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience
• Valid LPN license with current maintenance
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and turn patients
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Adherence to licensure and certification standards
• Participation in ongoing education (e.g., IV certification within one year)

Qualifications & Skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Potential requirement for ACLS, PALS, PEARS, or other unit-specific certifications
• Emphasis on compassionate patient care and teamwork
