Licensed Practical Nurse - Full Time

About the role

Provide direct patient care in a community outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and administer medications
• Operate diagnostic equipment and dress wounds
• Collect lab specimens and document patient information
• Provide health education to patients
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards and maintain confidentiality
• Assist with patient check-in and check-out
• Support outreach efforts and deliver excellent customer service to veterans and staff

Key Duties

• Perform routine nursing assessments
• Assist with urgent care needs
• Manage patient documentation
• Contribute to clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction
• Support clinic operations and veteran engagement initiatives

Requirements

• Licensed as an LPN from an accredited program
• At least one year of primary or ambulatory care experience
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Proficiency in electronic medical records
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Maintain licensure and meet safety and compliance standards
