Licensed Practical Nurse - Float Pool

Role Overview

Provides patient-centered nursing care, supporting physicians and ensuring safety and quality in clinical practice. Builds rapport with members/patients, responds promptly to needs, and maintains a safe environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols. Performs routine and specialized procedures, monitors patient conditions, and educates patients on health maintenance and post-care. Assists with examinations, treatments, and minor surgeries, while accurately documenting patient information. Supports team training and manages supplies, demonstrating excellent service and cultural sensitivity.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Licensure as a Practical Nurse in Colorado
• Completion of clinical hours
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Colorado Practical Nurse license
• Preferred: Customer service skills
• Preferred: IV therapy certification
• Preferred: BLS certification
• Preferred: Experience with diverse patient populations
• Demonstrates safety, professionalism, and a commitment to quality care
