Licensed Practical Nurse

About the role

The Community Behavioral Health Hospital (CBHH) in Bemidji is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This position is located at CBHH Bemidji and works rotating shifts including evening and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, treatment, and instruction to patients in a hospital level of care setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Administer and monitor medications and treatments to ensure medical responsibilities are accomplished.
• Develop therapeutic relationships and engage with patients while prioritizing safety and aiding patients in progressing with their treatment plan goals and objectives.
• Maintain and provide a safe, clean, and therapeutic work environment for treatment.

Requirements

• Possess or be eligible for licensure in Minnesota as a Practical Nurse.
• Minimum of 6 months of patient care experience within a mental health or behavioral health setting preferred.
• Experience working with adults in a treatment setting preferred.
• Experience working in a secure facility preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Practical Nurse program.
• Passing of NCLEX-LPN required.

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of mental health and behavioral health principles.

Pay

$28.01 - $35.83 / hourly; $58,485 - $74,813 / annually

Schedule

Rotating / 6:45am-5:15pm; 11:45am-10:15pm; Night Shift / 9:30pm-7:30am; Evening Shift / 11:45am-10:15pm
