Licensed Practical Nurse
About the role
DaVita is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join an outpatient dialysis center. The role involves providing care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease, fostering meaningful relationships, and delivering comprehensive care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver care in an empathetic and compassionate manner
- Work with patients and their families in an outpatient setting
- Collaborate with a team to support and rely on each other
- Manage multiple co-morbidities and unique treatment plans
- Operate a water treatment system as required by state regulations
Requirements
- Current LPN-LVN license in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- IV certification if required by state regulations
- Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body
- One year's experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BONENT or CHT certification preferred or as required by state regulation
- Flexible schedule to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Schedule
