Licensed Practical Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery

About the role

Provides care to pediatric and adult patients across specialties including Plastics, Gynecology, Thoracic, Breast, Endocrine, Bariatric, and Liver/Pancreas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care under supervision of RN or provider, following patient care plans and organizational policies.
• Collect patient data through observation, communicate findings to the healthcare team, and assist in assessment and care planning.
• Participate in team activities, including quality improvement projects, and mentor or instruct colleagues.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or passed the LPN Boards.
• One year of recent LPN experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records and ability to adapt to changing situations.
• Current LPN license, BLS certification, and applicable state licensure.

Additional Details

• Full-time position, nonexempt, with a schedule of days, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, no weekends.
• Compensation ranges from $24.55 to $35.65 per hour, with benefits included.
